Initial start-up
!
It is not possible to operate another piece of bluetooth
hardware installed or plugged into the PC/laptop, as
the data communication between the KTS module and
the control unit would be disrupted as a result.
1. Before the initial startup of the bluetooth USB adapt-
er, the bluetooth hardware integrated in the PC/
laptop (e.g. Widcomm Stack/Toshiba Stack) must be
deactivated (see PC/laptop operating instructions).
i
The DCU 130 with internal Bluetooth hardware does
not require the use of the supplied Bluetooth USB
adapter and the installation of the Bluetooth driver.
2. In addition, the appropriate bluetooth driver must be
uninstalled (remove bluetooth driver under "Start >>
Settings >> Control Panel >> Software").
!
Do not plug in the Bluetooth USB adapter until
requested to do so during installation of the Blue-
tooth driver on your PC or laptop (Message: Con-
nect Bluetooth device). If the Bluetooth USB adapter
is plugged in too soon, the Windows hardware as-
sistant is opened. The Windows hardware assistant
must be terminated and the
Bluetooth USB adapter removed.
