What is di erential lock?
Diff erential lock is a system that increases
the capacity of transmission of power
to the surface. Lock gear is consists of
the yoke that moves the gear and an air
operated piston.
When the di erential lock is engaged,
Engine torque transmitted to the left and
right sides of the vehicle and wheel speeds
are equalized. Activate the diff erential lock
in bad and slippery road conditions where
high and stable traction power is required.
Engagement of the di erential lock
1) Activate the diff erential lock before
running into worsening road conditions.
Ensure that the road conditions are not
slippery or any wheel is not slipping or
skidding while it is being engaged.
Ensure that the wheels are not on
slippery surface fi rst and stop the vehicle
completely.
2) Engage the diff erential lock button on
the center console.
3) Diff erential lock light
illuminated on the instrument panel when
diff erential lock is activated, and a warning
buzzer shall sound if available.

OPERATION
If the diff erential lock is not used
properly, there is a risk of heavy
damage to the diff erential unit and/or
a serious risk of accident. Diff erential
faults caused by using improper use
of diff erential lock are out of warranty
cover.
