Functional description

The thermostatic sensor detects the room temperature. The room temper-
ature is transferred to the control piston via the capillary. The control piston
opens or closes the valve according to requirements.

Operating elements and displays

Set the desired room temperature at the handwheel (see Illustr. 1 on page
16) .
The symbols on the handwheel correspond to the following temperatures.
0 Fully closed
about 7°C (frost protection position)


2 about 16°C
3 about 20°C
4 about 24°C
5 about 28°C
