Do not try to turn the key to "LOCK" position
while riding the vehicle, which may lead to loss
of vehicle control.
(b) Seat ock l
The seat lock switch (1) is provided on the
tail/stop lamp cover.

(1) Seat lock
To unlock the seat, insert the ignition key
(2) and turn in clockwise direction. The seat
will release from its latch.
To lock the seat, push down until it locks.
Make sure the seat is secure before riding.

Gently close the seat by hand. Sudden
dropping of the seat may result in breaking the
seat lock and malfunction of the lock.
(c) Helmet holder
Two helmet holders (1) are located under the
seat to access the holder or to secure a helmet
(2) to the holder.

Open the seat.

Attach/Hook the helmet strap or ring to

the helmet holder and close the seat.
To release the helmet from the holder:

Open the seat.
•
Remove the helmet from the holder and
•
close the seat.

Riding with a helmet attached to the holder

can interfere with the objects and could
cause a loss of control/crash in which you
can be seriously hurt.
Use the helmet holder only while parked. Do
•
not ride with a helmet secured by the holder.
Place the helmet inside the center
compartment if you wish to carry along with
the vehicle.
