    To use the receiver you will need a suitable satellite aerial which must be installed and aligned with the desired satellite (for example Astra). The satellite receiver STR 7122 TWIN is fitted with two separate reception units (Input and Input B).
  • Page 7 SPECIAL FEATURES ___________________________________________________ You will, of course, be able to re-programme "new" satellite channels in an easy and straight- forward way. The television's on-screen menus provide the dialogue between the user and the receiver. The receiver will respond to many of the functions selected via the remote control by displaying info menus and on-screen symbols on the TV screen.

    INSTALLATION, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT ______________________________________ Thunderstorms are a danger for any electrical appliance. Even when switched off, the receiver might be damaged by lightning striking the mains supply and/or the aerial lead. During a thunderstorm you must always disconnect the mains and aerial plugs. Never open the receiver.

    LNC ARRANGEMENTS ________________________________________________________ On the following pages the LNC arrangments available are explained.     TROUBLE SHOOTING ___________________________________ Dear customer, Not all interference with the picture and sound signals is due to a fault in your satellite receiver. An accidentally pulled out plug or connecting cable, incorrect alignment of the satellite antenna or a fault on the transmission satellite can also result in defective picture and sound quality. If you do have problems with your satellite receiver, please read the following pages before calling your local dealer.
