the desired genre, which will be automatically searched for among the
currently receivable stations when the knob is released: PTY SEEK.
● The search for the selected PTY program type starts automatically. If it
finds a program that matches the set condition in the reception area, it
switches to that program.
● NO PTY: no program type information is available
● If you are not driving long distances or the reception is poor, it is
recommended that you turn off the AF function: AF OFF. This prevents
unintentional automatic station search.
● Occasionally, you may find that certain characters appear incorrectly or
not at all. This is mainly affected on the special or accented characters
and not the fault of the device.
Depending on the reception area, the following PTY types can be
selected:

USING WIRELESS BT FUNCTIONS
The device can be paired with other equipment which is communicating
by BT protocol, within maximum 10 meters operation range. After that,
music which is played by mobile phone, tablet, notebook and other
similar device is audible amplified. In case of incoming call, it is possible
to accept it, to amplify it and to end it, without touching the phone. The
car radio has a built-in microphone for telephone conversations. For
better sound quality, we supply it with a secondary external microphone,
which should be placed at head height. Try to speak in the direction of
it, so that your conversation partner can hear you in even better sound
quality. Make sure the windows are closed during call, as the trip noise
significantly impedes the clarity of the speech.
● The external connector must be connected to the backside MIC swing
socket before installing the car sound system. The wire (≈3 m) can be
lead hidden, under the edge of the instrument panel, to the appropriate
point of the „A" pillar or the awning, where the microphone is clipped.
The following extra functions are available if there is a mobile phone
connected to the radio:
ringtone through the car speakers / showing the caller's number
on the display / accept call / end call / decline call / using the car
radio's built-in microphone / using external microphone / BT music
playback from the mobile phone's storage or on-line / controlling the
mobile phone's music player
When you receive a call, you can hear the ringtone through the car radio
speakers simultaneously rings the phone. The device switches to BT
mode, if, for example you are currently listening to the radio. The display
shows the caller's number. Without touching the phone, it is possible to
decline (MOD), to accept (BAND), to end (MOD), to make a call to the last
dialed number. For the latter, briefly press 2x the BAND (4.) button. The
display shows OUT, the phone dials the number if its screen is not locked.

During a call, the display shows the elapsed time, and then the device
switches back to radio mode, if you have listened to it before.
CONNECTING: Select the BT mode with the MOD button. BT indication
flashes in the display. Locate nearby BT devices, including this car radio,
as described in the user manual of the mobile device to be paired. Connect
the two devices together. You can then hear the phone conversation or
the music played on the phone through the car speakers. After connecting
successfully the PHONE message is displayed.. It is ready now to receive
music played on the phone wirelessly. Also adjust the desired volume on
the phone.
● Make a call to the last dialed number: in case of a dual SIM phone,
depending on its setting, it may be necessary to accept the phone on
the call. This can be avoided by setting the phone properly (depending
on the model), setting the SIM priority, and by controlling the pop-ups
of the applications. Do not let pop-up windows appear above the music
player, as this may prevent the music player from being controlled
remotely from the radio.
● The radio unlocks the locked screen of the mobile phone added as a
secure BT connection – depending on the operation system and the
setting.
● Occasionally, it is recommended to turn off the automatic screen lock
for easier use in the vehicle.
Start music playback on the mobile phone's music player, with the songs
stored on the phone or with online songs, and music can be heard
through the car speakers. If you receive a phone call, you can accept
the call with the BAND button on the radio or decline the call with the
MOD button; while music is paused. Make sure your phone's multimedia
volume control is set to high.
● The music player application launched on the phone can be controlled
remotely with the radio's play and scroll buttons.
● A radio can be paired with one BT device at the same time. The actual
range depends on the other device and the ambient conditions (approx.
5 m).
● The volume and sound quality of the BT connection are significantly
affected by the audio settings, activated EQ and similar applications of
the connected mobile phone.
● In some cases, some characters may not appear on the screen
properly or at all. This can mainly affect special or accented characters
and is not a malfunction of the device.
● The display of the caller's phone number may also depend on the
caller's telephone setting and service provider.
● If there is a problem with the BT connection, switch to radio mode and
then back to BT mode, or switch the radio OFF-ON or switch OFF-ON
BT mode on the phone, or use the RESET button on the radio.
MP3/WMA PLAYBACK – FROM USB/SD MASS STORAGE

this and start playback automatically. The display briefly shows the name
USB or SD, then – if available – the current directory, the number of
the track (TN). You can also read the elapsed time of the track during
playback. When playback is stopped with the 1/PLAY/PAUSE button,
