UNIVERSAL CAR AMPLIFIER
Features
2/1 channels, suitable for bridged connection • 2/4 Ohm load capacity • 3 sound switch modes to drive bass,
middle + treble and wide-range speakers • adjustable cut-off frequency • bass boost circuit • low and high-level
inputs • output to other amplifiers • stereo/mono switch • PWM MOSFET adaptor
The WRX 2090 dual-channel universal car amplifier is suitable to drive bass speakers, middle+treble speakers and wide-
range speakers. It can be used as a dual or single-channel amplifier. In a bridged connection, its high output power makes
the amplifier ideal to operate sub boxes and sub tubes. It has an adjustable sound switch, enabling you to set the frequency
transmission that best suits your system. To enhance bass sounds, it includes a BASS BOOST circuit.
Electronic sound switch
The multiple configuration active sound switch makes the amplifier a universal solution in various scenarios. In wide-range
mode the amplifier can drive traditional car speakers, but it is also suitable to drive only bass or middle + treble speakers. The
sound switch's cut-off frequency can be adjusted between 30 - 180 Hz. I.e., in sub-bass (BASS) mode the frequency range can
be adjusted between 5 - 30 Hz and 5 - 180 Hz, and in TREBLE mode between 170 - 50,000 Hz. In wide-range (FLAT) mode the
transmitted frequency range is 5 - 50,000 Hz.
The switches and controls affect both channels in the same way.

Connecting the speakers
Make sure you connect the speakers with the correct polarity. In stereo mode, use speakers with at least 2 Ohm impedance;
in a high-power bridged connection, use a speaker with at least 4 Ohm impedance. This load impedance can be realized by
connecting several speakers, but their resultant impedance must reach the specified value. The sound cables' minimum
recommended diameter is 2 x 1.5 mm 2 .

Connecting the input signal
Use a stereo cable with RCA plugs to connect the two INPUT sockets to the input device (car radio, head unit etc.). Lead
the cable away from power and other speaker cords. If your car radio only has a speaker output (no low-level line out),
you can connect the high-level input labeled HI-INPUT using the included cable. If your sound source has both options, it is
recommended to use the low-level (RCA) output. You must never connect a signal to both inputs.
Set the stereo/mono switch to the desired position corresponding to your setup.
Connecting the power supply
The device needs power over three connectors. The length of the +12 V wire between the battery and the external fuse
socket (not included) should not exceed 50 cm. Locate the fuse socket as close to the battery as possible. The ground wire
should also be as short as possible.
Connect the negative pole first. It is very important that this connection have a perfect ground contact. An imperfect
connection can cause noise and malfunction. The minimum diameter of the power cords is 6-10 mm

* If your car radio does not have a 12 Volt output for this purpose, connect this point to the +12V power voltage. In this case,
it is recommended to either install a switch before the remote control input, or to connect the control voltage to a point that
is powered off when the ignition key is removed. Otherwise the amplifier will be permanently on, putting a drain on the battery.
