• YOUR CHILD'S SAFETY IS YOUR
RESPONSIBILITY.
• WARNING! NEVER LEAVE THE
CHILD UNATTENDED: IT CAN BE
DANGEROUS. PAY UTMOST CARE
WHEN USING THE PRODUCT.
• The product is intended for use for children aged between
birth up to 3 years of age (approx. 15 kg.).
• The product is safest when the mattress base is in the
lowest level. The lowest level should always be used as
soon as the child is old enough to sit, kneel or pull itself up.
• To prevent falls, the product should no longer be used
when the child is capable of climbing out.
• Remove the upper level together with all the support
components (rails, straps etc) while a child is in the lowest
level.
• WARNING: do not leave anything in the cot or
place the cot close to another product, which could
provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or
strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords.
• WARNING: do not use more than one mattress in the
cot.
• WARNING: only use the mattress sold with this cot, do
not add a second mattress on this one, suffocation hazards.
• Use the product only when it is fully opened and all the
locking mechanisms are correctly engaged. Check carefully
that the locking mechanisms are fully engaged before
using the product.
• WARNING: Be aware of the risk of open fire and other
sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires,
etc. in the near vicinity of the cot.
• WARNING: Do not use the cot if any part is broken,
torn or missing and use only spare parts approved by the
manufacturer.
• The mattress base included in this product has to be
used only with the Lodge travel cot.
• Do not place more than one child at a time into the

• The product comes with a mattress base. Never use the
product without the mattress base both in the upper and
lowest level.
• Always attach mattress base securely. If mattress base is
not secured, child in the product can lift or shift mattress
base and get neck trapped between mattress base and
product.
• Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as a
mattress cover. Suffocation hazard.
• WARNING: danger of injury! Don't move or shift the
product with the baby in it.
• WARNING: danger of injury/entrapment! Don't place
the product close to furniture or other objects.
• CAUTION! Danger of entrapment! Do not leave the zip
of the side passage partially open: ensure that it is either
completely closed (with the zip puller inserted in the
appropriate pocket) or completely open.
• Do not open, fold or disassemble the product with the
baby inside.
• To avoid injury, ensure that your child is kept away when
unfolding and folding the product.
• Finger entrapment and scissoring actions may happen
during these operations.
• Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with
a string around the child's neck, such as hood strings or
pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over the product or
attach string to toys.
HINTS FOR USE
• For the safety of your child, remove and eliminate all plastic
bags and elements belonging to the packaging before use
and, in any case, keep them out of reach of newborns and
children.
• Before assembly, ensure that the product and all its
components have not been damaged during transport.
Should this be the case, do not use the product and keep it
out of reach of children.
• Assembly, disassembly and adjustments must be carried
out only by adults. Make sure that the person using the
product (baby-sitter, grandparents, etc.) are aware of its
correct operation. This product must only be used by an
adult.
• Never place the product close to stairs or steps.
• Use only on a flat, stable and dry surface.
• Make sure that all possible risk sources (e.g. cables, electric
wires, etc.) are kept out of reach of the child.
• Never leave the product close to ropes, curtains or other
objects that may be used by the child to climb or cause the
suffocation or strangling of the child himself.
• Do not let other children or animals play unattended near
the product or climb on it.
• Inspect the product and its components regularly for any
signs of damage and/or wear, undone stitches and tears. In
the event of damage or malfunction, keep the product out of
the reach of children, do not use it and/or attempt to repair
it, but turn exclusively to qualified staff.
• Regularly inspect the product for damaged hardware,
loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges.
• When the product is not used, it must be stored out of
reach of children. The product shall not be used as a toy! Do
not let the child play with it.
• In case of prolonged exposure to sunlight, let the product
cool down before using it.
