Problem
Air purifier makes an

Cause
Air filters are dirty.
Filter does not fit properly.
Foreign object inside the unit.
Filter packaging has not been
removed.
Fan speed is low.
Airfilters need to be replaced.
Not enough clearance on all
sides of the purifier.
Airfilters need to be replaced.
Room is too large forthe air
purifier's applicable area.
Air inlet or outlet is blocked.
Filters not properly placed in
housing.
The air purifier has been reset
incorrectly.
Air purifier is defective or
malfunctioning.
Solution
Replace the air filters as instructed in the
Filter Replacement section.
Properly place filter(s) as noted in the Before
first use and Filter Replacement sections.
Immediately discontinue use and contact
Customer Support. DO NOT attempt to
open the air purifier.
Remove filter from packaging before use.
Press to adjust fan speed.
Replace the air filters as instructed in the
Filter Replacement section.
Ensure there is at least 38 cm (15 inches) of
clearance on all sides ofthe purifier.
Replace the air filters as instructed in the
Filter Replacement section.
Ensure the room is smaller than (280ft').
Remove objects blocking air inlet or outlet.
Properly place filters as noted in the Before
first use and Filter Replacement sections.
See the Filter Replacement section on how
to properly resetthe unit.
Immediately discontinue use and contact
Customer Support. DO NOT attempt to open
the air purifier for self-servicing.
