Input/Output Functions

2.3.1

Inputs

The C900TTL-E has three inputs monitored by A/D
converters:
Input 1 (IN1): Used as an EOL supervised loop. If
input status reports are enabled by the D6600
using Conettix D6200 Programming and
Administration Software, any voltage below
1.66 VDC is reported as a short to the D6600. Any
voltage above 3.33 VDC is reported as an open-
circuit condition. Input 1 must have the
10 kΩ EOL resistor.
Input 1
− Supervised
− 10 kΩ end of line (EOL) resistor
− Power-Limited
Input 2 (IN2): Used for Intercept Inhibit. If
input 2 exceeds 5.5 VDC, the C900TTL-E is
immediately forced into Fallback Mode for a
minimum of two min. Input 2 must be low for at
least 5 sec to be considered low. If input 2 is not
used, it can remain disconnected.
Input 3 (IN3): Used for Intercept Override. If
input 3 exceeds 5.5 VDC for 5 sec, the
C900TTL-E enters into Fallback Mode. If input 3
goes low, the C900TTL-E returns to Intercept
Mode. If this is driven by a ground start relay
output, the C900TTL-E stays in Intercept, except
when the dialer begins to dial. Input 3 cannot force
an intercept if the C900TTL-E is in Fallback
because of an error, command, or input 2 high. If
input 3 is not used, it can remain disconnected.
Inputs 2 and 3
− Not Supervised
− Power-Limited
Do not use Inputs 1, 2 and 3 for UL Fire
listing. They can be used for other
purposes.

Outputs

The C900TTL-E has four open-collector outputs:
Output 1 (OUT1): Active (shorted to ground)
when the CPU is operating normally. If the CPU
fails to operate or loses power, Output 1 opens.
Connect Output 1 from the C900TTL-E to a
24-Hour zone on the control panel. This 24-Hour
Zone alarm report allows the digital dialer (if used)
to indicate a failure of the C900TTL-E to the
central station, or to locally annunciate a failure if
the C900TTL-E's CPU fails.
Outputs 1 through 4
− 12 VDC max (separately energized)
− Maximum Sink Current: 25 mA
− Not Supervised
− Intended for connection to power
limited sources only.
