transmit power and receive sensitivity of the AT-WR2411 allow it to

802.11b Wireless Access Point
AT-WL2411 wireless access point forms the basis of a wireless
solution that combines advanced security with high-end management
capabilities.The AT-WL2411 uses industry-standard IEEE 802.11b
high-rate and OpenAir wireless technologies to offer cable-free
networking at speeds of up to 11 Mbps.When combined with the
AT-WR2411 PC card, it provides a range and sensitivity that clearly
outdistances the competition.Weighing less than 8 ounces and
packaged in an attractive two-colour enclosure, the AT-WL2411 is
designed for easy integration into all office environments.
Increased Security
The AT-WL2411 now has increased security features with the
implementation of IEEE 802.1x.The 802.1x standard increases
security between the access points and the wireless end devices by
using an 802.1x authentication server to authenticate each device's
initial connection and by using rotating WEP keys
Ease of use
Designed for ease of installation and operation, the AT-WL2411
wireless access point automatically tracks and connects roaming
wireless clients without the cost and complexity of a dedicated
mobile IP server or additional hubs and cabling. In fact, with its fully
integrated IP tunnelling capabilities that allow large wireless LANs to
span across multiple subnets, users of wireless-enabled laptops and
other mobile computing devices are able to maintain a continuous,
high quality network connection while seamlessly roaming anywhere
throughout the enterprise.
