6. install the radiator cap securely.
7. start and idle the engine for few
minutes.
8. stop the engine and let it cool.
9. Drain water and cooling system
cleaner and close drain cock.
then, fill with antifreeze and
water mixture and close radiator
cap securely.
10. run tractor at idle until up to op-
erating temperature.

11. check the coolant level in the
reservoir tank. if the level is low,
add coolant.

CAUTION
To avoid accidents:

Do not remove the radiator
cap while the coolant is hot.
steam or scalding liquids re-
leased from hot cooling sys-
tem can burn you seriously.
Cool down the engine first.
•
Even though the coolant is
cooled down, turn the cap to
its first stop and then wait un-
til it is depressurized before
removing the cap completely.
•
Do not start engine without
coolant.
•
Use clean, fresh water and
anti-freeze to fill the radiator
0.73 u.s.gal.(2.8 l)
and reservoir tank.
•
When the anti-freeze is mixed
with water, the anti-freeze mix-
ing ratio must be no less than
50% mixture of water and anti-
freeze.
•
securely tighten radiator cap.
If the cap is loose or improp-
erly fitted, water may leak out
and the engine could over-
heat.
•
If the radiator cap has to be
removed, follow the caution
above and securely retighten
the cap.
•
Use clean, fresh water and
anti-freeze to fill the reservoir
tank.
•
If the coolant leaks, contact
your local kIOTI Dealer.
