Remedy
Contact the manufacturer.
Change the material combination.

Reduce speed.
Fit new sealing element between volute
casing and casing cover.
Re-tighten the bolts.
Fit new shaft seal.
Check flushing liquid/barrier fluid.
Replace shaft protecting sleeve/shaft sleeve.
Fit new shaft seal.
Correct.
Fit new shaft seal, if required.
Correct the suction conditions.
Re-align the pump set.
Re-balance the impeller.
Increase pressure at the pump suction nozzle.
Re-align pump set.
Check the piping connections and secure
fixing of pump; if required, reduce distances
between the pipe clamps.
