  • Page 2 Safety instructions The motor is not explosion-proof. Do not operate the pump in hazardous locations. Do not use the pump for flammable liquids. The motor comprises a built-in overload cut-out switch. The motor is switched off automatically in case of overloading. After having cooled down, the motor can be switched on again by pressing the button on the right side of the motor housing.
  • Page 3 Power supply must include a fault current breaker. Dirt accumulation, high humidity or material damage on the motor housing may lead to dangerous current surges. Starting operation Ensure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage indicated on the name plate. Always check the power supply cable for damage before starting operation.
  • Page 4 Cleaning after each operation Clean the pump by flushing an appropriate cleaning agent. Do not use flammable liquids to clean the pump. The pump and flexible hose must be compatible with the cleaning agent. The pump should not be immersed deeper into the cleaning agent than the outlet connection.
