FRONT
1. Power switch: Push to the right side to turn on/off the machine
2. Extraction switch: Push to the right/left to start a single/double shot
3. Hot water lever: push up or down to release boiling water from the boiler
4. Steam lever: push up or down to release steam from the steam wand
5. Brew group: Connection point for the portafilter
6. Boiler pressure gauge: Indicates the boiler pressure (typical 1.2 bar)
7. Brew pressure gauge: Indicates the extraction pressure (typical 9-10 bar)
8. Signal Indicators: From top to bottom, shows if
(1st) the machine in on,
(2nd) the brew group temperature is correct for brewing,
(3rd) the boiler is on the right pressure level, and
(4th) the water tank is filled with water.
9. Drip tray: The place to put your coffee cups, and the place where the
machines collects deposits water
Caution: The hot water pipe (3), steam wand (4) and brew group (5) will be very hot
during operation, don't touch the metal parts to prevent skin burns!
