3.3 Cleaning after each test

❏ After each test, the probe, the stirrer and the resistor must be
cleaned in order to avoid polluting/distorting the next test with
residue of solution.
The probe is very fragile, it must be cleaned and wiped with
care in order not to damage the rings (risk of detachment of the
rings).
❏ To clean these parts, use the container located on the left side of
the SDmatic.
❏ Place the container under the probe, the stirrer and the resistor.
❏ Rinse them carefully with distilled water.
❏ Dry them with a soft and clean cloth.
Container
Risk of burn: do not touch the heating resistor because it might
be hot.
Avoid touching measuring devices with fingers (parts in contact
with the reagent): this could cause wrong measurements.

Disposal of the test solutions at test end: please check the
recommendations given in the safety data sheets applicable in
your country.
