To avoid this, make sure that you run AWS Client in administrator mode.

    CAUTION! Do not change any values that are not instructed to be changed in this manual or by Vaisala personnel. Take special care when updating parameters remotely. Incorrect settings can leave the system inaccessible for further remote configuration and maintenance.

Do not use spaces or special characters in the station name. Altitude (m) Type the weather station altitude from the mean sea level in meters. This setting is needed only if your weather station measures barometric pressure.

    Check that the parameter values represent the actual conditions at each station. If needed, change the value. Do not change values that are not instructed to be changed in this manual or by Vaisala personnel. Take special care when updating the parameters over a remote connection, as incorrect values may cause you to lose the remote connection to the station.

    Chapter 4 – AWS Client Usage 4.4.4 Setting Time Manually If you use AviMet time synchronization, AWS Client receives the time from AviMet and overwrites the time setting. You must still set the time zone manually. Time zone information is needed for certain daily calculations to function correctly. It is used, for example, to sample the daily minimum and maximum temperatures at correct time.

To define the interface settings and to send the air temperature and relative humidity message (TU) and atmospheric pressure message (PA) to the WID displays, set the correct messaging parameters.

You can override the automatic selection by changing the sensor selector value. In this case, the selector works as though the selected sensor was directly connected to calculations and reports.
