MAINTENANCE

In view of the different uses, various ty-
pes of contamination can occur: limes-
cale, algae growth and dust from air
conditioning/refrigerators or deposits
due to acids from condensing boilers.
This contamination must be removed
regularly to ensure proper operation
and maximum pump efficiency.
1. The upper section of the pump does
not need to be opened for cleaning
or maintenance purposes. Take out
the condensate collector from the
middle section by pressing down
the catch (1) and then clean it.
2. Check the check valve to ensure it
does not leak, and clean if necessary.
3. Clean the electrodes and condensate
collector.
4. Before assembling these parts again,
please grease the round sealing ring
with a lubricant for sanitary fittings,
e.g. high-temperature grease.
QUICK TIPS FOR
REMEDYING FAULTS
Pump does not work
∙ Check the mains voltage, the fuse
and the ground fault circuit inter-
rupter. Replace defective fuses only
with fuses with the same nominal
value. If the fuse triggers again, call
a service engineer.
∙ If the mains cable is damaged, it must
only be replaced by the manufacturer.
Decreased pumping performance
∙ Pressure pipe or check valve ob-
structed = clean. ATTENTION! If
possible, install the end of the pres-
sure pipe at a lower level. This will
increase the flowrate in the pipe and
avoid deposits.
∙ The pressure pipe is kinked or flat-
tened = observe minimum instal-
lation radius of 60 mm when laying
pipe.
∙ Rotor worn out = have it replaced by
the manufacturer as special tools
are required for this purpose
Check valve is leaking
∙ Valve is contaminated = replace it
Short alarm tone during pumping op-
eration
∙ Please refer to "Decreased pumping
performance"
Continuous alarm tone if tank is full
∙ Please refer to "Decreased pumping
performance"
Continuous alarm tone if tank is emp-
ty
∙ Electrodes contaminated = clean
them
NOTE:
To turn off the continuous alarm tone,
briefly interrupt the power supply (un-
plug from the mains, remove the fuse,
etc.).
