Checking the data communication channel

From the diagnostics menu you can check the connection
between the SFC and the SFC fieldbus module retrofit set.
To display the data communications, select:
MENU -> Diagnostics -> Inputs/Outputs:
A "R" lights up
B "T" lights up
If there is a connection, data traffic is indicated by "R" (for receive)
and "T" (for transmit) to the right of the label "RS232" briefly
lighting up.
Please note
The data connection is only OK if "R" and "T" light up.
Error correction procedure in the event of a data connection error:
• Check the SFC firmware and update if necessary,
• Check the display LEDs,
• Check the cable connecting the SFC to the fieldbus module.
