SFC fieldbus module retrofit set

3. Description

3.1

General

The SFC fieldbus module retrofit set enables easy connection of
the SFC to various fieldbus systems.
This add-on module is installed in the SFC and is controlled via a
serial port on the SFC. The fieldbus module is automatically
detected after installation and can be configured using the menus
provided by the SFC.
The process data transmission is bidirectional. In other words,
data can be received as well as sent. (See the list of process data
available in chapter 3.5.)
3.2

Versions

There are three versions (fieldbus types) of the SFC fieldbus
module retrofit set.
