3.2.1 Profibus DP
When used with Profibus DP, the fieldbus module operates as a
Profibus DP slave. The process data is available as I/O data on the
Profibus side. For details, see the reference table on I/O data in
chapter 3.5 "Data formats".
The GSD file (SFC.GSD) is needed to configure the master for use
with the SFC. The GSD file contains all of the process data as
modules that can be combined in any way. Up to 16 process data
modules can be combined per unit.

downloaded from our homepage => Download => SFC.
3.2.2 Profinet
When used with Profinet, the fieldbus module operates as a
Profinet IO Device. The process data is available as I/O data on
the Profinet side. For details, see the I/O data reference table in
chapter 3.5 "Data formats".
The GSDML file (GSDML-V2.0-Deutschmann-UNIGATE-IC-PN-
20080508.xml) is needed to configure the master for use with the
SFC.
If the GSDML file V2.0 is not supported by your software system,
you will need the file „GSDML-V2.1-Deutschmann-UNIGATE-IC-
PN-20110615-150300". In case of using the GSDML file V2.1 the
actualization time of the IO cycles must be raised on 16 ms for a
connection between a SPS and a fieldbus converter.
SFC configuration:
• 82 bytes of input data
• 38 bytes of output data
