If the power supply cord or mains plug is
damaged or defective it must be repaired by
an authorised repair agent in order to avoid a
hazard. Do not cut the power supply cord and
do not attempt to repair it yourself.
Never attempt to remove or replace any parts
other than those specified in this manual.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Before use, check that the mains voltage
corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
This appliance is double insulated in
accordance with EN 60335-2-14;
therefore no earth wire is required.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
immerse the cord, plug or motor unit in
water or other liquid.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Assembly
Before assembly, make sure that the
appliance is switched off and unplugged.
Blender
Position the jug on the motor unit, aligning the
arrow on the motor unit with the unlocked
padlock symbol on the jug.
Turn the jug clockwise until it locks into place
and the arrow on the motor unit is aligned with
the locked padlock symbol on the jug.
Place the lid on the jug.
Turn the lid clockwise until it locks into place.
USE
Always place the unit on a flat, clean and
non-slip surface before operating it.
Switching on and off
In order to briefly switch on, turn the speed
control switch to position P. To switch off,
release the switch.
For longer operation, turn the speed control
switch to position 1 (low speed) or 2
(high speed). To switch off, turn the switch to
position 0.
For ice crushing, press the ice-crushing button.
To switch off, release the button.
Do not operate the appliance continuously
for more than 2 minutes. After operating
the appliance continuously for 2 minutes,
let it cool down for at least 10 minutes
before operating it again.
Blending
Set the unit up for blending as described above.
Open the pouring hole or remove the lid.
Add the required ingredients into the jug.
Do not exceed the MAX level (1.5 litres of
liquid or 200 g of solids).
Fit the lid and pouring hole cover onto the jug.
Operate the appliance as described above.
It is recommended to start at low speed, then
change to high speed if necessary.
Turn the jug counterclockwise and lift it off the
motor unit.
Remove the lid.
Pour the ingredients out.
Ice crushing
Set the unit up for blending as described above.
Open the pouring hole.
Pour a small amount of water into the jug.
Keep the ice-crushing button depressed.
Carefully add ice through the pouring hole.
Milling
Add the ingredients to the mill. The maximum
capacity is 100 g of solids.
Fit the mill cover on the mill.
Position the mill on the motor unit, aligning the
arrow on the motor unit with the unlocked
padlock symbol on the mill.
Turn the mill clockwise until it locks into place
and the arrow on the motor unit is aligned with
the locked padlock symbol on the mill.
Operate the appliance as described above.
It is recommended to start at low speed,
then change to high speed if necessary.
