Operation

Bosch Rexroth AG, Manifold block type AGEV1-48404-AA/HM/L01H01-XC, RE 62272-B/03.19

8.1 Bleeding the hydraulic system

For bleeding the complete system, observe the operating instructions of the device
and/or system into which the manifold block is installed.
Before actual operation, switch the manifold block several times at 50 % operating
pressure in order to allow the air that remained in the manifold block to escape.
Thus, mechanical damage caused by inadmissibly high acceleration of the fluid and
the valve spools is avoided and the life cycle of the manifold block is extended.
9 Operation
Loud noise!
Hearing damage and possible damage to hydraulic valves! In the case of an
unfavorable arrangement of hydraulic blocks in a system, resonance and fluid noise,
e.g. whistling, may result.
In this case, contact a service engineer.
For further information on the operation, please refer to the operating
instructions for the hydraulic system in which the manifold block is installed.

10 Maintenance and repair

Hazardous movement caused by high pressure!
Risk of injury due to sudden movement of system parts and potential energy stored
in elastic parts, fluids or gasses.
Before carrying out any maintenance work, de-energize all valves of the manifold
block.
Rexroth manifold blocks are usually maintenance-free.
The seals of built-on and mounted hydraulic components are subject to a natural
process of wear and aging. It is therefore recommended that they are changed at
reasonable intervals. The time intervals are mainly determined by the operating
conditions and cleanliness of the hydraulic fluid.
Regularly check the product and mounting surfaces for leak-tightness!
Replace the seals at reasonable intervals as a precautionary measure.
Preventive maintenance (e.g. hydraulic fluid maintenance) and adherence to
specified pressures and temperatures prolongs the service life of the system and
the hydraulic valve.
