7.1 Unpacking

Risk of explosion due to electrostatic charging!
When the manifold block is unpacked (packaging consists of plastic foil)
electrostatic charging may take place due to friction processes. This means that
explosion protection is no longer ensured.
Only remove the transport packaging outside the potentially explosive
atmosphere.
Parts falling out!
Risk of injury! If the packaging is opened improperly, parts may fall out and cause
injuries or damage to the parts.
Put the packaging on level, bearing ground.
Only open the packaging from the top.
Dispose of the packaging in accordance with the national regulations of your
country.

7.2 Changes to the surface protection of the manifold block

Risk of explosion as a result of electrostatic discharge at electrically non-
conductive surfaces!
Any modification of the surface protection of the manifold block and its attached
components can lead to loss of the explosion protection!
Repair work on the paintwork of the manifold block and its attached
components has to be carried out observing ISO 80079-36, section 6.7,
otherwise explosion protection can no longer be ensured.
