B. Assembling the mixing bowl
• Hold the food processor base with one hand and the
handle of the bowl with the other. Screw the bowl
onto the base by turning in a clockwise direction.
You will hear a click when the bowl is properly locked
onto the processor base.
• Place the assembly on the motor housing.
Note: the bowl can be fi tted onto the motor housing in
4 diff erent positions. The handle can face left or right,
depending on your preferences.
• Insert the chopping blade, the reversible disc or the
emulsion disc as indicated below:
1. The chopping disc
• Place the blade over the central spindle of the bowl.
The blade should be easy to press into the bottom of
the bowl and should almost touch the bottom.
CAUTION, THE BLADE IS VERY SHARP. Always hold the
blade by its central hub.
2. The reversible disc
• Place the adapter over the central spindle of the
bowl.
• Then place the disc on the adapter.
• CAUTION: hold the disc by the central plastic hub to
prevent the risk of injury.
To slice: the sliding blade must face upward.
To grate: the grating slits must face up.
3. The emulsion disc
• Place the emulsion disc over the central spindle of
the bowl
• Put the lid back on the bowl and turn in a clockwise
direction until it is in place. A click indicates that it is
properly locked onto the lid.
• Insert the pusher into the feed tube with the rounded

side facing the outside of the bowl.
• Plug in the appliance. Your food processor is now
ready to use.
C. Dismantling the mixing bowl
• Hold the bowl with one hand and, with your other
hand, turn the lid in an anticlockwise direction.
• Remove the chopping blade or reversible or
emulsion disc (and adapter) from the bowl.
• Hold the base of the processor fi rmly with one hand
and the handle of the bowl with your other hand.
Turn the bowl in an anticlockwise direction and lift
the bowl from the base.
• Remove the processor base from the motor housing.

• Press the switch. The indicator light above
the switch will begin to fl ash indicating that the
appliance is in 'stand-by' mode.
