LCR
The LCR (Least Cost Routing) is designed to lower tele-
phone communications costs. When LCR is activated,
all outgoing calls are routed to provide the least expen-
sive connection costs. A table is created listing all times
of the day, days of the week, telephone service provid-
ers so that calls can be made when rates are at their
lowest. After programming, you can make calls with no
need to enter the carrier code since LCR automatically
uses the carrier that provides the lowest rate at the time
the call is being placed.
