Adjusting the mirror optical axis
This adjustment is intended to correct possible shading in the R, G or B color. It is necessary to readjust
the optical axis when any optical part in the mechanism has been replaced.
Procedure
1. Remove the output PWB and radiation fins from the optical unit.
2. Light up the lamp.
3. Loosen the two lock screws off the L1 adjustment mechanism.
4. Watching the green image and the LCD (G) incident light zone on the screen, turn the right-and-left and up-
and-down adjusting hex screws of the L1 adjustment mechanism until there will be no shading on the screen.
Tighten up the lock screws.
5. Use the M4 adjusting lever for red and the M5 adjusting lever for blue. Watching the red and blue images as
well as the LCD (R) and LCD (B) incident light zones on the screen, slide or turn these levers until there will be
no shading on the screen. Tighten up the lock screws.
6. Make the screen white only and make sure there is no shading on it.
