3. Removing the rear ballast unit.
3-1. Remove the 12 rear cover lock screws, 8 terminal panel lock screws and 3 power PWB unit lock screws.
Detach the rear cover.
3-2. Remove the 2 screws off the vent fan assembly and detach the vent fan assembly.
3-3. Disconnect the vent fan connector (FE) from the fan relay PWB.
3-4. Disconnect the connector from the power PWB unit. Remove the screw and draw out the power PWB unit
assembly.
3-5. Remove the 2 screws off the lamp socket bracket and detach the lamp socket.
3-6. Remove the 3 screws off the rear ballast bracket.
3-7. Pull out the rear ballast bracket.
3-8. Disconnect the lead connectors (CA) and (PG).

4. Replacing the LCD
4-1. Remove the 2 lock screws and take out the lens cover upward.
<Note: Be careful not to hit against the mirrors and screen.>
4-2. Disconnect the output PWB connectors (EA), (LA), (MA) and (MB).
4-3. Remove the 5 screws off the output PWB shielding case (top).
4-4. Remove the 11 screws off the output PWB and take out the output PWB.
4-5. Remove the 5 screws off the output PWB shielding case (bottom) and detach this case.
4-6. Go to "Replacing the LCD" on page 20.
