The LU 2 automatic lubrication unit optimally and evenly lubricates the lift
transverse unit chain while in operation (see Section 10.3.1 "LU 2 automatic
lubrication unit" on page 44).
Bearings
The bearings come with lifelong lubrication and are maintenance-free under normal
conditions of use.
Transmission
The transmission is maintenance-free.
Motor
To ensure adequate cooling of the motors, remove dirt and accumulations of dust
regularly:
• from the surface of the motor,
• from the intake openings on the fan hood,
• from between the cooling ribs.
The cleaning intervals depend on the ambient and operating conditions.

LU 2 automatic lubrication unit

The LU 2 automatic lubrication unit lubricates the lift transverse unit chain while in
operation.
The LU 2 automatic lubrication unit consists of the following components:
• LU 2 lubrication unit, 3 842 543 482
• LC 2 oil container, 3 842 543 469
• AS 2/C-100, C-250 adapter set, 3 842 543 483
