PISTON, CAMSHAFT, CRANKCASE, AND
CRANKSHAFT
2. Measure:
9 Cylinder warpage
TIP
Measure the warpage on the contact surface
of the cylinder head at six points using the
straight edge and thickness gauge.
Feeler gauge set:
YU-26900-9
Thickness gauge:
90890-03180
Warpage limit:
Refer to "SPECIFICATIONS" in
the Supplementary service
manual.
Out of specification → Replace the
crankcase.

CHECKING THE CRANKCASE

1. Check:
9 Crankcase
Damage → Replace.
9 Bearings
N o i s e / we a r / r o t a t i o n a l fa i l u r e →
Replace.
