ENGINE SPEED (WITH THROTTLE LEVER
MODEL)
1. Warm up the engine for several minutes.
2. Attach:
9 Digital tachometer 1
Digital tachometer:
YU-39951-B, 90890-06760
3. Measure:
9 High engine speed (with no load)
Out of specification → Adjust.
High engine speed:
Refer to "SPECIFICATIONS" in
the Supplementary service
manual.
Measurement steps:
a. Move the throttle lever 1 to the high
engine speed position a.
b. Check the high engine speed.
4. Measure:
9 Low engine speed (with no load)
Out of specification → Adjust.
Low engine speed:
Refer to "SPECIFICATIONS" in
the Supplementary service
manual.
Measurement steps:
a. Move the throttle lever 1 to the low
engine speed position a.
b. Check the low engine speed.
