Set the choke lever to "Half" choke position
Set the choke lever to "Run" choke position.
Pull the starter grip until the engine attempts to start.
Wait for 10 seconds.
Pull back on the rotating handle knob. Turn handle to the right or to the left.
Starting a cold engine by hand

Stop the engine.
Set the ignition switch to the "I" (ON) position.
Ignition switch: 0 = STOP, I = RUN
