Shield connection
The shield connection plate is fitted to the Motor Module in the delivery state. The associated
shield connection clamp can be found in the terminal kit.

Protective conductor connection (PE)
On the 100 mm module illustrated above, the protective conductor connection is located on
the left next to the shield connection plate. On a 50 mm module, the protective conductor
connection is behind the shield connection plate. For more detailed information, refer to
Chapter "Protective conductor connection (PE)" (Page 49).

Motor holding brake connection
To ensure reliable opening of the motor holding brake, it requires a 24 V ± 10% voltage
supply at the motor connection. It must be taken into account that voltage dips can occur
along the supply cable.
● Use a Control Supply Module or a regulated DC power supply, whose setpoint is set to
26 V.
● Use supply cables with a minimum cross-section of 1.5 mm
