Maintenance
IMPORTANT
To avoid serious injury, the engine must always be
switched off when performing maintenance work on
the lawnmower.
Before carrying out maintenance work, the ignition
lead must always be disconnected and fastened
away from the spark plug in order to prevent the
engine from being started inadvertently.
Only use original spare parts. This applies to cutting
tools in particular. When replacing the cutting tools,
make sure the correct type is selected.
5.1
Adjusting the drive cable, MB 415
Maintenance interval: As required (when the
drive lever is pulled out, the drive will not
engage).
The cable may have to be re-adjusted due to wear
of the clutch or alteration of the cable length.
Adjustment is carried out with the engine switched
off.
Release lock nut 1.

Loosen adjustment screw 2 until the correct
adjustment is achieved.
Correct adjustment:
Actuate the drive lever while pulling the lawn-
mower backwards.
The drive wheels must lock from approx. one third
of the lever travel.

Secure adjustment screw 2 with locking nut 1.
