lo w er body

holes in the diaphragm
tearing the fabric, then tighten the
s c r e w s evenly and securely.
8. Check the pump fo r p rop e r ope­
ration .
In stallation
Follow the removal p roce d u res in the
r e v e r s e o r d e r .
A lw a y s replace the gaskets with the
new gaskets.
A fte r installation, operate the engine,
and check fo r fuel and oil leaks.

1. R em ove the carburetor fuel pipe,
and connect a p ressu re gauge onto
the pump outlet fitting.

2. Operate the engine, and m easure
the pump delivery p r e s s u r e .
If the p re s s u re does not meet the
specified p r e s s u r e ,
