The 3M ™ 4220CUE-6000 Cabinet is a special 6000 pair capacity, single-sided cross-connect cabinet (94” W x 18” D x 60” H) that mounts directly to the outside wall of a Concrete Universal Enclosure (CUE). It provides the interface between the electronic equipment in the CUE and the OSP field/distribution cables.

4.0 Cable Port Sealing The two types of cable ports that are the standard in the 4220CUE-6000 are the 4-inch Metal Port for the fiber cable(s) and/or innerduct(s), and the two 4297-3 Port Kit (3 holes with 3 1/4” opening for the copper cable(s)).

Bridge the Miscellaneous QCP Maintenance Line to the cabinet’s talk block on the left hand side. 7.0 Binder Post Identification In the 4220CUE-6000, the Derived Pairs Drop-Down Frame will be marked in the factory with 1 to 2000 green labels on the block’s identification tabs.

Select proper sequence of blue labels and detach a strip of 20 labels from sheet. Carefully remove protective backing from strip. Remove protector tape from identification pads on the blocks in the cabinet. Align number 1-6-11, etc. with identification pads on left and press into place.
