3. OUTLINE

NB08PT-18
NB08PT-18 is a rechargeable cordless nut tool equipped with multi-control (stroke management and force management)
functions. A touch panel LCD screen is mounted behind the tool, and counters such as Poka-Yoke are standard equipment.
In addition, the stroke and force settings can be easily changed from the touch screen. It is also possible to save the data of
the number of conclusions for each day and month in the internal memory and retrieve it to the PC via USB.
PB2500 Smart is a Battery Power Rivet Tool which has a light weight with Rivet assessment function and Counter function. It
enables to set some values from the touch screen easily.
Additionally, 500,000 setting data can be stored in a memory in the tool and they can be extracted through USB connection
to in your PC.
Capability and Nose equipment are common with the current PB2500.
You can also use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth (BLE) function by downloading an Android App "Stanley Super Visor" in Google Play.

4. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

The values set for stroke and force are only indicator, so the actual fastening stroke and force on are not guaranteed.
Operator can choose stroke control or force control or multi control. However, the force control for each types of nut are
limited as below.

Aluminum nut: M6 MIN

Steel nut: M5 MIN

Stainless steel nut: M5 MIN
Please use the stroke control mode for other sizes and materials other than above. For more details, please read tool
instruction manual for fastenable nuts.
WARNING: If you use the force control mode other than the nuts above, it may cause a breakage to the nut thread.
To get a stable actual stroke, please use "Stroke control". In case of fastening multiple thickness with the same nut or a large
thickness variation of main plate, please use "Force control".
CAUTION: This tool only operates when the counter is displayed. If it does not operate, please check the screen
whether it display the counter or not.
CAUTION: Do not put the nut onto the application before mounting it onto Nosepiece.

This tool has the capability to verify measurements. STANLEY Engineered Fastening does not assure the value and accuracy
of Break‐load and Stroke displayed. In addition, STANLEY Engineered Fastening cannot provide the range of Break‐load
and Stroke for each rivet. The limits must be set by the tool operator as a means to prevent the release of defective
products, abnormal fastening or to detect abnormalities of the tool. Examples of tool abnormalities include jaw slip or the
requirement to return the tool for maintenance.
Rivets with a low breaking load (less than 3,000N such as an Aluminum rivet 4.0mm size etc.) may not show the rivet curve
correctly. If the rivet curve and assessment are not required or the rivet curve does not show correctly, only the counter
function can be used.
