Pre-Heat Method A
1.
Pre-heat the Oven to 85 °C (185 °F).
// CAUTION //
If the Oven is not available or not appropriate,
use Pre-Heat Method B on page 103, or skip to
Display Removal on page 104.
2.
Place the Front Housing in the Oven.
// CAUTION //
Do not set the Oven temperature higher than
85 °C (185 °F). Damage to the phone may
occur.
3.
Wait 25 minutes for the Display to warm up.
4.
Remove the phone from the Oven.
// CAUTION //
Wear protective gloves when handling heated
phones.
5.
Continue to Display Removal on page 104.
NOTE
For phones with a damaged Display Lens,
continue to Display Removal (Damaged
Display Lens Only) on page 107.
