Seat Cushion Removal Invert the chair and place on a clean soft surface. Using an Allen wrench or driver bit, remove and save the four (4) screws securing the seat cushion assembly to the seat plate. RETAINING By hand, deflect and push the retaining tab through the slot near the center rear of the seat plate and remove the seat cushion assembly from the chair.

Shell Removal NOTE: CUT RETAINING CABLES AND/OR ZIP TIES ON OLDER SEATING . Return the chair to upright. Locate one (1) screw at each point where the chair shell fabric ends, approximately 6”-7” from the center of the frame. Work the fabric back to expose the screws. A utility blade maybe needed to access these screws.

MOUNTING Shell Removal (Cont’d) SLOT NOTE: On older seating product the shell and the tube frame have different mounting features. Neither will retrofit to newer product, requiring replacement of shell and frame together. If you have older seating product, complete removal of shell is not required. Proceed to tube frame removal.

Tube Frame Removal SUPPORT YOKE SCREWS Using an Allen wrench or driver bit, remove four (4) screws securing the tube frame assembly to the support yoke. Remove the two (2) screws securing the product branding badge to the front of the seat plate. Set the screws and branding badge aside.

Yoke to Base Alignment (Swivel Return Cylinders) NOTE: When servicing seating with swivel return cylinders, check to ensure that the arm yoke is aligned properly with the base. The arm yoke should be aligned evenly between the “X” angle of the base legs, as noted below.

MOUNTING SLOT FRONT SHELL SCREWS Reassembly NOTE: To ease reassembly and avoid damaging any components, MOUNTING it is recommended that two persons be present when reassembling LOCATING this product. To install tube frame assembly, align the two (2) holes on each mounting plate in the frame with the mounting holes in the arm yoke.
