    Chapter 3: Daily Cleaning Cleaning Procedure Prepare Sanitizer Step Action In a clean 5 gallon Bucket, prepare 5 gallons of Kay-5 Sanitizer (two 1oz packet of Kay- 5). Use hot water. Note: Do not exceed 100 ppm Sanitizer strength as this causes damage to the equipment.

    Chapter 3: Daily Cleaning Remove Parts to Clean Separately Step Action Grasp the Nozzle Tip, rotate it counter clockwise, and pull it downwards from the Nozzle. Remove the Cup Rest and Drip Tray from the dispenser and separate them by pulling up on the ring in the drip tray.

    Chapter 3: Daily Cleaning Step Action Clean the Nozzle Tip, Drip Tray, and Cup Rest with warm water and Detergent Cleanser using the Parts Brush. Thoroughly rinse with warm water. Sanitize the Removed Parts Step Action Submerge the parts in Sanitizer for 2 minutes. Note: Shake the Nozzle Tip when submerging into the Sanitizer to ensure no air pockets remain.

Clean the Ice Chute Body area with a clean cloth dipped in Sanitizer. Wait 2 minutes and then perform Steps 2 and 3 again.

    Chapter 6: Annual Cleaning Step Action Secure the Tubing to the Connector with an Oetiker Clamp. Remove the cap from the empty BIB and attach the Green BIB Connector to the empty BIB. Pour Sanitizer into the open end of the Tubing until the BIB is full (5 gallons). You may use the funnel from the Cleaner Cartridge Refill Kit to facilitate filling.
  • Page 33 Chapter 6: Annual Cleaning Step Action Insert the IPN fitting of the Pouch Filler into an empty Cleaner Cartridge Pouch. Carefully pour 680 ml of Sanitizer into the funnel of the Pouch Filler. Once the funnel and tubing are empty, gently squeeze the Cleaner Pouch to ensure as much air as possible is removed from the pouch.

Note: If the START SANITIZATION button is not enabled, check for errors or warnings regarding the Cleaner Cartridges, verify the door is open, and remove the Cleaner Cartridges and reinsert them.

    Chapter 6: Annual Cleaning Step Action The dispenser now runs the cleaning process. This takes approximately 25 minutes. You can track the process with the SANITIZING PROGRESS BARS. VII. Purge Product Lines Step Action When the Sanitization Process completes the PURGE SANITIZER SOLUTION window displays.
