3. Remove the spark plug with a spark plug wrench.
4. Examine the spark plug and replace it if it is
damaged. Replace the spark plug if the electrode
(A) is worn or if the sealing washer (B) is in bad
condition.
5. Measure the electrode gap of the spark plug with a
feeler gauge. Make sure that the distance is correct.

6. If it is necessary, bend the side of side electrode
carefully to correct the distance.
6.6.5 To install the spark plug
CAUTION: Always use a correct spark plug.

1. Put in spark plug in the spark plug hole.
2. Turn the spark plug by hand until it touches the
spark plug seat.
3. Tighten the spark plug with the spark plug wrench
until the washer is compressed.
4. Tighten a used spark plug ⅛-¼ turn more, and a
new spark plug ½ turn more.
CAUTION: Make sure that you tighten the
spark plug sufficiently. A loose spark plug
can become too hot and cause damage to
the engine. If the spark plug is too tight, it
can cause damage to the top of the cylinder.
5. Attach the spark plug cap to the spark plug.

6.7 Fan

6.7.1 To replace the fan
1. Loosen the 2 screws and remove the top guard from
the side of the product.
2. Loosen the 5 screws and remove the front guard.
