    Installation Bracket The bracket for an EPG actuator should be designed to provide solid support. The location should be as vibration free as possible. Most Woodward-built brackets are constructed of 10-gauge sheet steel with the edges bent at 90 degrees for stiffness. Steel plate at least 6 mm (1/4 inch) thick is generally heavy enough to support the actuator, although additional bracing is sometimes required if the plate is much larger than the actuator.
