    PPD3 User Manual 3.2 Connecting the Cable to the Printer 3.2.1 Connecting the USB Cable 1) Confirm the power switch is turned off. 2) As shown, insert the USB cable into the USB interface, and ensure they are matched. 3) The other end of USB interface cable should connect to the host.

    PPD3 User Manual 3.2 Loading the Ribbon Cartridge ①Turn off power to the printer. ②Open the front cover by holding the finger grips on both ends of the cover and lifting it up. Note: Do not touch the print head immediately after printing as it can be extremely hot.

    PPD3 User Manual 3.3 Loading the Paper ①Open the printer cover by sliding the latch toward you. Note: Do not touch the print head immediately after printing as it can be extremely hot.  ②While observing the direction of the roll, set the paper roll into the hollow, and pull on the leading edge of the paper toward you.

Be sure to set the power switch to off before changing the settings. It is recommended to use a pointed item like a pen or flat-blade driver screw to change the settings.

    PPD3 User Manual CHAPTER 7 INTERFACES SIGNAL Printer supports cash drawer interface and many other various communicate interfaces, such as Serial interface, parallel interface, USB interface, Ethernet interface,Wi-Fi interface. The printer has the communication board with the default USB interface and cash drawer interface, and the other communication boards with the Ethernet interface, parallel interface, RS232 interface are optional.

    PPD3 User Manual 7.5 Serial Interface and Ethernet Interface Printer serial interface are all compatible with RS-232 standard, with 25 pin (D hole type) socket. User can gain the setting of interface via printing configuration sample; the default setting of serial interface is as follow, 9600 bps (baud rates), 8 bit (data bit), 1 bit (stop bit), no parity, support RTS/CTS handshaking protocol.
