  • Page 11 Operazioni preliminari L’utilizzo del dispositivo airline Diablo Amiante, completo di maschera a pieno facciale e filtro deve avvenire esclusivamente dopo attenta lettura di tutti i manuali relativi ai componenti e alle attrezzature utilizzate, incluse eventualmente le sorgenti mobili di aria compressa con particolare attenzione al numero massimo di utenti collegabili.
  • Page 12 • TEST PRESSIONE NEGATIVA. Con la maschera indossata come precedentemente indicato, si può respirare liberamente attraverso il filtro antipolvere. Quando ci si sente a proprio agio, si blocca l’ingresso dell’aria dal filtro con il palmo della mano e si prova ad inalare. Si trattenga a questo punto il respiro per alcuni secondi e si verifichi che la maschera sia premuta sulla faccia e che la sensazione della pressione negativa all’interno della maschera non scompaia.
  • Page 13 La respirazione con la maschera Sfera SP/A ASB utilizzando il filtro comporta un valore di resistenza respiratoria più elevato di quello delle maschere in pressione negativa. Pertanto è normale dover espirare in modo energico per consentire l’apertura delle apposite valvole. Per tale motivo, si consiglia l’utilizzo della maschera Sfera SP/A ASB respirando attraverso il filtro per il tempo strettamente necessario alle operazioni richieste nell’impossibilità...
  • Page 14 Non rimuovere l’erogatore prima di averlo pulito esternamente con un panno asciutto in modo da evitare che l’interno dell’erogatore e della maschera siano raggiunti da contaminanti. Disconnetere (se non è ancora stato fatto) l’innesto rapido di media pressione e proteggerlo con l’apposito tappo in plastica.

  • Page 24 Reference standards and certifications The Diablo Amiante is a PPE belonging to the III category according to the European Directive 89/686/EEC and subsequent amendments. Diablo Amiante is a specific version of airline, certified according to EN 14593-1:2005 Respiratory Protective Devices –Compressed air line breathing apparatus with demand valve, specially designed for asbestos removal applications.

  • Page 30 Do not remove the demand valve before cleaning it externally with a wet cloth in order to avoid that the internal of the demand valve and of the mask are reached by contaminants. Unplug (if not already done) the medium pressure coupling and protect it by the rubber plug. Check by pressing deeply the red button on the demand valve that the pneumatic circuit is depressurized.
