Interrupts
The AQ 4xU/I 4xM12 analog output module supports diagnostics interrupts.
Diagnostic interrupt
The module generates a diagnostic interrupt at the following events:
● Short-circuit of the actuator supply
● Short-circuit (voltage)
● Wire break (current)
● High limit violated
● Low limit violated
● Parameter assignment error

Diagnostics alarms
For each diagnostic event, a diagnostics alarm is issued and the DIAG LED flashes red on
the analog output module. You can read out the diagnostics alarms, for example, in the
diagnostics buffer of the CPU. You can evaluate the error codes with the user program.
The following tables show the diagnostics alarms for all measuring ranges.
