4 Updating Hardware Flash, Drivers

Your Celerity FC host adapter is shipped with the latest flash and drivers but these may need to be updated as
new versions become available or if the factory-installed version becomes corrupt. Visit the ATTO website,
www.attotech.com, to download the latest drivers and flash bundle.
Updating flash
Hardware flash memory may need to be updated as
new versions become available or if the factory-
installed version becomes corrupt.
1 Download and install the most recent version of
the Configuration Tool from the ATTO
website. Refer to Updating the ATTO
Configuration Tool
2 Download the proper flash bundle (adapter
specific) from the ATTO website.Go to
www.attotech.com.
a. Click on downloads.
b. Click on ATTO Configuration Tool and
Hardware Flash Files.
c. Register or log in if previously registered.
d. Navigate to your operating system entry.
e. Select the flash file for your adapter.
f. A download window appears. Choose
Save.
g. After the download has completed,
process the downloaded file:
• On OS X, expand the .tgz file, then
double click on the installer icon.
• On Windows, run the downloaded .exe
file.
• On Linux, double click on the .bin file. If
the executable bit is not set,
sh /path/to/bin.
h. Follow the instructions for installing the
application.
3 Launch the Configuration Tool.
4 In the Device window, select the adapter that
needs to be updated.
5 In the Flash window, click on the Browse
button to find the flash bundle that you
previously downloaded to your desktop.
6 Click Update to update your flash ROM.

7 Reboot your system for the changes to take
effect.
Updating drivers
Update drivers by downloading the latest driver
software from the ATTO Technology website.
1 Click on downloads.
2 Click on Drivers/Extensions/Software.
3 Register or log in if previously registered.
4 Navigate to your host adapter and click on the
word Download opposite your adapter.
5 Navigate through the screens until you find your
operating system and the version you are
using.
6 Click on the heading for that system and
version.
7 A download window appears. Choose Save.
8 After the download has completed, process the
downloaded file:
• On OS X, expand the .tgz file, then double
click on the installer icon.
• On Windows, run the downloaded .exe file.
• On Linux, double click on the .bin file. If the
executable bit is not set, run
sh /path/to/bin.
9 Follow the instructions for installing the drivers.

If you want the latest version of the ATTO
Configuration Tool, download it from the ATTO
website.
1 Go to www.attotech.com.
2 Click on downloads.
3 Click on ATTO Configuration Tool and
