Security
 4 digit pin – Optional
 Most people do not set this up since it is hard to communicate/maintain
Spot License – Not currently used
Touchscreen calibration (Self Maintenance)
 Symptoms screen needs calibration: Touch screen is not sensitive, does not
register, letters / selections do not take with one touch
 Explain process below completely to user before they begin
1. Press Touch Screen
2. Press Calibrate
3.
Press firmly on plus sign + that appears for just a second, then go to next plus
sign and next as they appear
4. Then plus sign with circles will appear - press those as they appear
5. System will indicate if passed or failed
6. If failed, try again
Screening Info
 Instant screen: Click age on right of main screen allows immediate screening, then
put in subject data at end
 Clicking Start requires entering subject data first
1. First name or Last name can be skipped.
2. You can skip gender- (but it will automatically go to male if skipped)
3. Date of birth is the only required field
4. Subject info screen- Eyewear prescription – should be selected if subject is
wearing prescription, otherwise results may not be accurate
Tips for screening
 Have room environment dark as possible
 Subject should not look toward light – Subject should have back to ambient light
 If doing screening Outdoors (under tent) - it is not recommended – too much ambient
light- need black curtains
 Subject should always be sitting, screener standing 3 feet away with screener
at waist height (Child may need to sit in parents lap)
 Be ready to do screening in 30 seconds (default setting) – or increase default setting
if needed. (Under ResultsScreening Time Out)

If subject wearing glasses – Have subject press glasses firmly against
bridge of nose, subject should point chin downward during screening
