OPERATION

Before operating the generator, review SAFETY section
starting on page 8.

Enclosure and Access

Open the enclosure to gain access to the generator and its
components. Unlock the handles. Turn the handles and lift the
hoods up and to the outside.

Pre-Start Checklist

To make sure the generator is ready for proper operation, the
following items should be checked:
– On/Off switch is in the ON position
– Fuel valve is in the on position
– No fault code LEDs are lit
– Battery is at full charge
– aXis Controller module is in AUTO mode.

– Transfer switch is in the Utility Power position

Turning Off the Generator

If you need to shut off the generator when it is running, turn the
engine control module switch to the OFF position. This will shut off
the engine. With the engine control module in the OFF position, the
generator will not start, even if there is loss of utility power.
