Upgrade Firmware; Synchronize Data - Siemens FC430 Upgrade Instructions

Install new DSL cassette

Insert the new DSL cassette into housing.

Fasten the screw that holds the DSL and reconnect the cable with the new plug.

Fasten the rubber band to the hook.

Remove the O-ring from the lid.

Reinstate the lid until mechanical stop. Wind back the lid by one turn.
⑥
Mount O-ring by pulling it over the lid and tighten lid cover until you feel friction from the O-ring on both sides. Wind
lid further by one quarter of a turn to seal on the O-ring.

Reinstate and tighten lid lock screw.

Upgrade firmware

Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware using the local user display:
Note
Make sure to connect the transmitter and sensor before you update the firmware.
NOTICE
SensorFlash
Do NOT remove the SensorFlash during the update.

Insert the new SensorFlash delivered with the upgrade package into the transmitter.

On the display press

Go to menu item 3.1.10 "Firmware Revision", change the parameter to new FW version "2.02.02-01" and confirm by
pressing .

Wait 2-3 minutes before the update starts. The update takes approximately 10 minutes and the transmitter makes a
restart after a successful update.
The display flashes and indicates progress during the update.

After the restart the display shows the wizard "First startup" .The firmware update does not change the configuration,
but you must go through the basic parameters to confirm the settings (display language, date, time).
Select "No" when asked if you want to go through the Quick commissioning wizard.

Synchronize data

To complete the upgrade, the new sensor electronic must be synchronized with the original SensorFlash data.

Remove power from the device.
Remove the SensorFlash from the transmitter and insert original one.
