Before placing the mantle, you must first mount the Control box on the underside of the gas fire unit Place the gas fire on the back side so that the bottom is easily accessible. Attach the two provided strips at the Control box. (See Figure A) Drill four holes in the tubes under the unit as shown and attach the Control box.

The unit must always be placed in front of a non-flammable wall (also no wallpaper or similar material). The mantle may be placed adjacent to the wall. If desired, the device can also be placed at a short distance from the wall.
